Grants for Companies Establishing in the Historic Center-North Zone and Villages

Purpose

hemselves in the historic center, the northern area of the municipality, the urban core of its villages, and the dispersed rural habitat areas. This initiative is part of the 2024 Support Plan for SMEs and Freelancers, aimed at promoting the economic and social development of the municipality through job creation and value generation.

Purpose of the Grant
The main purpose of this grant is to encourage the establishment of new companies in the historic center, the northern area of Alcalá la Real, its villages, and dispersed rural habitat areas, contributing to their revitalization and economic development.

Beneficiaries
The following can benefit from this grant:

• Newly established companies.
• Freelancers starting their activity.
• Existing companies expanding their business to new activities.

Requirements

• Job Creation: The new business activity must create at least one full-time job, maintained for a minimum of two years.
• Location: The rented property must be located within the municipality of Alcalá la Real.
• Documentation: Applicants must present various supporting documents, such as the registered rental contract, certificates of being up-to-date with payments to the Tax Office and Social Security, and the activity license, among others.

Amount and Duration of the Aid

• Maximum Amount: The maximum amount of the grant is determined based on the investment made and considered eligible, excluding all types of taxes (VAT is not subsidized), according to the following categories:
  • Investments up to €20,000: A fixed percentage of 50% of the investment made and considered eligible, up to a maximum limit of €10,000.
  • Investments from €20,001 to €75,000: A fixed percentage of 50% of the investment made and considered eligible, up to a maximum limit of €15,000.
  • Investments over €75,000, and that are also of tourist interest (hospitality, lodging) and social projects (residences, day units, etc.): A fixed maximum amount of €25,000.

Application Deadline
The deadline for submitting applications is until September 30, 2024.

Compatibility
The grants awarded are compatible with other grants, aids, incomes, or resources for the same purpose, as long as their amount does not exceed the cost of the subsidized activity.
