Rental Assistance for New Professional/Business Initiatives that Generate Employment

Purpose

The City Council of Alcalá la Real has announced a call for applications for rental assistance grants aimed at promoting new business and professional initiatives in the municipality during the year 2024. This initiative is part of the 2024 Support Plan for SMEs and Freelancers, which aims to foster the economic and social development of the municipality through job creation and the establishment of new businesses.

Purpose of the Grant The main purpose of this grant is to finance the rental costs of properties for businesses and freelancers starting a business or professional activity in Alcalá la Real and its surrounding areas, thereby contributing to the development and revitalization of these zones.

Beneficiaries The following can benefit from this grant:

• Newly established companies.
• Freelancers starting their activity.
• Existing companies expanding their business to new activities.

Requirements

• Job Creation: The new business activity must create at least one full-time job, maintained for a minimum of two years.
• Location: The rented property must be located within the municipality of Alcalá la Real.
• Documentation: Applicants must present various supporting documents, such as the registered rental contract, certificates of being up-to-date with payments to the Tax Office and Social Security, and the activity license, among others.

Amount and Duration of the Aid

• Maximum Amount: The maximum amount of the grant is 2,250 euros per company.
• Duration: A maximum of six months of rent will be subsidized, provided that the rental contract has a minimum duration of two years.
• Rental Period: The lease must be formalized between October 1, 2023, and September 30, 2024.

Application Deadline
Applications must be submitted through the electronic headquarters of the City Council of Alcalá la Real by September 30, 2024. Ensure that all documentation is complete and up-to-date to avoid delays in the evaluation process.

Compatibility
The grants awarded are compatible with other grants, aids, incomes, or resources for the same purpose, as long as their amount does not exceed the cost of the subsidized activity.
